5 INVESTMENT TOOLS FOR YOUR BLOG

If you’re a blogger or aspiring to be one, you must come across like you know what you’re doing. You need to build a lot of trust and credibility to be able to convince your audience that you know your onions and you got what it takes to dominate your niche. This is why you need to add value and credibility to your blog by investing in it. There are many tools to incorporate into your blog but first let’s start by asking, “who a blogger” is and “what is blogging is all about?”

WHAT IS A BLOG ANYWAY?

Simply put, a blog can be seen as an online journal. It can be personal or for professional purposes. It’s a tool that can help you to develop your online presence, and engage with an online audience. You know those sites that come up whenever you type in a search or question in google? Yeah, that’s a blog. It solves a problem, it fills a need or it educates and enlightens us. A blogger on the other hand is a person, who own, runs or maintains a blog. You can practically blog on any topic. But if you’re confused about which topic to start with, then get your hands on my guide on how to choose a profitable niche for your blog to get you started. Back to our investment ideas, let’s take a look at 5 ways we can make our blogs more extensive. Take note, we are working with our blogger blog.

Domain

Domains are those extensions you see at the end of the URL like, .com, .net, .org etc. It is also the representation of your blog and brand so don’t think twice in coming up with an awesome name. The shorter and unique the name, the more easy it is to remember. Note: You cannot use symbols like dashes or spaces in your blog name. A great domain host is Name Cheap. Not only do they have

Design

Normally a good content on its own is like a freshly baked cake. But spice it up with a good design and you have the icing on the cake. We all know the icing makes all the difference, so whether its cholate, buttercream or fondant, your cake is incomplete without it. So back to designs, while you might get free icing, I mean free design templates online, you cannot compare it to a paid exclusive design that will rock your blog to your taste. But whatever you decide, quality should be topmost in your choice. For me, when it comes to design, less is better. Two or three shades in the right pastel colors can give your blog a classic and simple look. Have you ever visited some sites and the first thing that hits you are the odd colors displayed in a way that gives you an instant headache? I’m sure you have. This is why, when you register for my course, THE HAPPY BLOGGER BLUEPRINT you will get a free design template worth $19 from my favorite web designers of all time. The designs from their sites are really awesome. You will definitely see something that tickles your fancy.

Content

Having a good content is important, but creating a great content is more important. You need to have attention grabbing, awesome content. This means you have to constantly work on coming up with a perfect, if not near perfect post to engage you audience. Ever had that feeling of writing up an article and submitting it, only to feel that something was missing or you probably had a typo error? We are definitely on the same boat. One of those programs that saved my life and stopped me from going insane is grammarly. It’s like having my personal English teacher around. And if you’re anything like me that proofreads constantly before hitting the publish button, then you definitely need to install grammarly. It’s a lifesaver I can’t do without.

Pictures

The internet is quite strict when it comes to using any picture without acknowledgment, there are copyright issues to consider. You cannot just download picture and use it on your sites you need to find pictures that grants you the permission to do so. Some of the sites that offer free images include pexels, pixabay, etc. Ultimately, this means you can download beautiful images from their sites for free once you’re registered. And you have the option to give credit to the creator but this is not always compulsory. In my course, I’ll share up to 10 sites where you can have constant supply of free pictures so you won’t need to worry about where to get them.

Knowledge

The internet world is evolving at such an alarming rate. Hence the need for anyone in the online world to constantly seeking information, upgrades, and moving along with time. While this can be overwhelming, I can assure you it will pay off in the long run. My advice, in the long run, is to always take it one step at a time. If you’re studying a particular topic on something, focus only on that topic until you understand it well enough to move to the next.
